Is there anything else we could do up there?
I've paddled the washburn once and was a little underwhelmed.
How far is it to the tees WW course?

I'd say it's as hard as you want to make it, couldn't think of anything worse than doing it in my k1 creekboat but it's fun in the C1 playboat!
Mutch better than Teeside......
I'll be there anyway!

i'll see you there kelvin.
unfortunatly the other rivers round here are pretty empty at the moment, plus the fisherfolk don't like us spoiling their day as i found out when i paddled the wharfe when it was up a week or so ago.

I was in my ocoee at the time which is probably not ideal.
It looks like there is no interest at home for a trip up north this weekend so its the tryweryn(again) for us, hopefully we'll have a few club members with us this time. Have fun.

a great time was had by all on the washburn today. kelvin tried his zoom and had a grin from ear to ear. i sat in it and realize why people say its tippy!!!
thanks for the rolling advice btw., it seemed to work i have been concentrating on relaxing my neck to keep the head in the water, which seemed to work.

Sorry Matey, I am afraid not.......I am having far to much fun in it!!!
There may be others soon!
We were talking to Girl yesterday who paddles a Fly (Has a broken Finger at the moment) but wants to paddle with us in the next few weeks....and my Pal Janet wants to bring her Quake out to play.
There seems to be quite a lot of curiosity and a growing interest down here.....
