Is it feasible to use a rechargeable SEALED lead-acid battery for a power source?

Something like this:

Or should I stick to NiMH?

I know weight might be an issue (22 oz. vs. 36 oz.) but I can two of these for the price of one NiMH pack.

Just looking at options and what is available in the area.

That will work good. I have had 2 now for over 2 years and they have worked great. I recharge them with my battery charger (on trickle charge). The charger has overcharge protection built in. I have 1000gph and 1650gph pumps in my boats and one battery will easily last a full 2 day weekend of paddling with plenty of use.

Thank you, kind sir! Two batteries and a charger=$65 for the lead acid type. One battery and charger=$65 for the NiMH. Plus the lead acids are local.
