I've not contributed in a while, so I thought I'd put up a few videos.

We've had a lot of rain in Texas this year, so we've been pretty busy paddling.

This is a video of Lance showing us how to do an on-side blunt in a C1 on a small wave at Rockport in Arkansas. He is one of the best kayak playboaters in Arkansas and a good C1 paddler.

This is a few spins in a big wave hole on Whiterock Creek @10,000 cfs in the middle of Dallas.

This is two spots at Dierks in Arkansas. The first is a couple of spins in aggresive wave hole, and the second is me trying a few cartwheels in a very sticky hole. They look more like piroets.

The last is a great river wide wave on Whiterock Creek in Dallas from two days ago. It's a long video, but in the middle we have two kayaks, a c1 and a creekboat on the wave at the same time.

Hope you enjoy.

Come to Austin, the ground is saturated, we're expecting more rain, (lots of class III/IV creeks and 2 class Vs) and I just heard the Canyon Lake will be releasing 5000+ cfs into the Guadalupe' River (class II-III) for the next 3 weeks.

Mshelton, that makes two of us... i could see that being a great time with more than 3 or 4, but we had nothing to do... so it goes. I wish we had time to get an upper trip in this time round.
cheers

Come on down to Weldon this weekend. Heck, if you want big waves be here by 4:00 this afternoon. They're spiking to 18,000cfs at 3:00. The water will get to Weldon ~4:15. Tomorrow should be ok & get better throughout the day as the level drops. Sunday should be good too.
