ACA OC Nationals Bid Accepted!

Post by CaroleW. »

The ACA slalom committee voted unanimously to have the races in Minden. It's a go!

July 28 - 31: Course set-up, practice, clinics
August 1 - 3: Races

I will add information on registration and particulars as things develop.

If you are interested in giving abit of your time let us know! We have all kinds of little things that will need to be done during that week. We will be sending a volunteer email out this week.

Cheers
Carole and Andrew

GREAT! I am looking forward to this race!

All the USA boaters better apply for a passport right now because it takes a while to get one. Getting in to Canada is the easy part, coming back to the USA is when you will need it.

Thanks Carol and Andrew.

Yes, I'm looking forward to the race too. I'm glad this site worked out. Thanks for all the organization work you have done and will be doing Andrew and Carole.

I would hate to try flying with an open boat on the plane. Decked boats are hard enough.

Passport? Who needs one of 'em.
Jim, remind me to tell you about how I had to hide in the trunk of a car under some sleeping pads coming back into the US after a paddling trip and I--well, maybe that story is best not posted on the internet.
