Blue Hole Sunburst

When did Blue Hole switch from the original Sunburst to the Sunburst II version?

Does the serial number SRA-1573, purchase date Aug. 1987 tell anyone about which version this might be?

I think the switch was 1984.

The I had no turn ups at the ends, the II's did.
