I just bought a nitro with factory outfitting and Im having problems with the thigh straps loosening. Short of tying a knot behind the buckle.Im looking for a fix.
Any ideas?
P.S I really like the boat otherwise

Check the way it is thread
I have had several of Esquifs boats and am heavy- no problem with slippage when webbing is threaded properly. Because the knee and thigh are continuous this can slip, but a fix is to place a triglide on the webbing of the dogbone of both knee and thigh straps. It makes it like 2 straps rather than one.

I guess the release buckles come loose, am I right?
If yes, try to adjust the fitting in a way that these buckles are more in the back and don't have contact with your thighs (loosen the knee straps, add the length to your thigh straps and pull tigh at the release buckles).
They need to be completely aligned with the straps, if they have contact with your thighs they are in a position that is a little like the position they have to be brought to loosen them.
I hope my english is good enough to understand...
