Saw one the other day on the water - that's a beeeg boat! Looked like an old Corsica (not S) that got stretched. The paddler noted that it was wider than his normal creek boat and a little harder to roll and we discussed the hull. It looked like it would convert pretty well, maybe make an expedition boat?

At 11'6" I think that it will be good to go. Longboat paddling experience will be helpful. I have one coming and will post a review after it hits the water.

Saw a kayaker working one on the Nanty. It didn't look like it had the firm initial stability one wants in a c-1, but maybe for some the straight line speed will be a compensation. It is also clearly not a highly maneuverable boat, even allowing for its length.
