I know you have had a few replys on BT that say no, but I say why not?

If you are an aggressive paddler. And by aggressive I mean you are the type who doesn't mind a steep learning curve. And if you can get over the kayaker mentallity that swimming is a mortal sin(and in a kayak it just may be).

You will get thrashed, but what a great boat. plus it is as dry as an open boat can get.

If you the type to paddle a playboat(kayak) down class IV rivers, and if you are comfortable being at the outer edges of your ability for awhile, then I say do it.

Come up to the Russell Fork and you will most likely see me in mine. Just ask and you can take a spin and see for yourself.

just have a try!!!!!

when I converted my actual whitewater canoe, everyone said it would be total nonsense to convert such a boat. For those who spoke like this, it might really be a bad boat

But I tried it out and for me, it works perfectly, LOVE that boat now.

So have a try and see how you feel in it
