Very difficult since the hull holds the outfitting... would be like putting the egg back into the shell.

Why would Esquif not outfit the boat?

Seam Issues

Hmmm, I have a Taureau that was made in the end of 07 or beginning of 08. I have not had any problems with seams and I do not have rivits.

Is Esuif now pop riviting the ends of all new Taureaus? Is this a warranty repair offered by Esquif? I have to say that it is a pretty ugly solution.

Any Esquif Reps/dealers on this board that can provide insight on all of this?

Looks like it was a prototype ("

from my understanding of the molding process, every Taureau is at this point before outfitting... the hull is not outfitted and then put together

I'd contact Esquif and get the parts. Should be easy to install, just get the saddle placement from Esquif and bond it in with contact cement. You can also make a bulkhead saddle if you have a bun of foam and the time to shape/ carve.

I seriously doubt that boat is an '08, I think it's one of the first from back in the day when they had seam issues.

Is the seam issue resolved?I stayed away from the boat because of that problem. And what did they do to resovle the problem?Every once in awhile, even on this site you hear of ongoing problems,$1800 for high percentage consistant problem boat, hmmm.I don't think i like the rivets,if thats the soulution.
