Vintage AW file footage poll UPDATE

So, you've all read this 16mm film has been found.

The current owner is in the process of contacted AW about it (though the organization has changed so much, who knows who owns what these days).

-------------NEWS FLASH------
AW has given their blessing, and only asks for a copy of the DVD, and that we share it with Kent Ford who is working on a project right now

-----------------------------------

Assuming we can legally convert it, would you be interested in helping pay for it? In exchange you get a copy..... My thought on "donation" level is $20 a person. WE'RE ALSO TALKING ABOUT A "THANK YOU" screen as part of the DVD thanking folks who will help pay for the conversion.

Please note this is NOT a CBoats.net fund-raiser, nor are we involved other than trying to move it along as I personally feel it is a very worthwhile thing to do...and I'd like to see the footage!

vote #2, sorry I'm trying to save up enough funds for an electric bilge system this spring... $10 is more doable, especially if done through paypal or something similar.

Boating trips and paying off student loans don't mix well.

Since we have permission from AW to pursue our endeavor, I thought I'd post a few pictures from the film. They're just digital photos of the film projected on a white wall, but they give an idea of the content.

I have 128 such photos available

You'll have to trust me that the actual projected images are sharper and have much better color than what you see in these photos. Hopefully you can see why I want to share this film

OK, I wasn't really interested in this, but I'll pay $20 just to see someone standing on the bumper of a '55 Ford & not get shot :o

The end-holes in action should be cool too.

Woo-hoo -- no helmets!!!

I'm guessing the race footage to be Brandywine.

Somebody has to recognize these faces.

Has Dave Kurtz seen any of this??? Bet he would know....

If everything is legal, post an address or a Paypal account where we can send the money. (If Paypal is possible, we'll send $21 to compensate for their fee). Might as well get things going.
