Ok so this time we make it to the Rio de Oro, not sidetracked by an other Rio for a change. We make it to the village we are suppose to go to and we ask anybody for any one of the Cordoba brothers anybody will know them know them and they did. We got to Fernando Cordoba place and it kinda looks like a restaurant so we eat breakfast there. Ham and Eggs, fruit, hand made tortilla, juice. Ten bucks for three of us. The brother starts getting ready to take us to the river, camel back. Machete, climbin gear and 100 foot of repelling rope. We get back on the paved road ,half mile we get off the paved road into a cow field, (Sam was loving it) we drive to the end of the cow field. Fernando throws Pinchalocogringo boat up on his back and starts walking, I’ve brung Plumpa Blan co to tote mine, but Fred ends up with it ain’t sure how that happened. We walk about a mile and we are there. 55 footer breakin on rocks, side creek has a double drop 40 footers. Plumpa, Fernando and Sam leave us at this point, This water is drinkable and the bluest, fluorescent agua marine looked like something out of a travel book I saw one plastic bottle on the whole trip and I picked it up If you ever paddled a river in Mexico you know that plastic bottles are a major problem. Water was better lookin than on the Actopian. Rapids were very manageable, much like a Treemont run. You put in below the 55 footer and a mile or so later you are at a 45 footer which is run and then a 30 footer that is sweet. From there to the ocean it is easy class II class III My first white water was in 1968 and I ain’t never started 900 meters up the side of no volcano and 8 kilometers later surf my boat in the Ocean , well until today. Next Sunday we go back and use horse and burros to carry us and our boat up two more miles and 2000 more feet. Pincholocogringo has been boating 3 months and a week and has nine rivers under his belt, all in Mexico We ain't even home yet this wireless aircard things is cool as hades

Small canoe, long trip that sorta thing. And another dam thing, don't feel to smug about the Ber Rabbit, Tar babby, and Louie anology. As long as you was in your line of work a text book case like that should be easy to spot. Personaly I was flattered, ......dam Yankeys
