Stuffable floatation bags?

I guys, I've been seeking advises on this for a while.

I have a MR ME with huges float bags (63" long, XL) and I was thinking of using this space to put some stuff. I was thinking of putting my guitar in the bow as the space is exactly right for one, but I do obviously need a dry solution. Now I didn't find any dry bags big enough (long 50L barely ones fit my litle girl's 1/4 classical tiny guitar) neither floatation bags that you can put stuff in.

The pelican cases are square shaped so won't fit there and I've heard some cies do custom plastic welding but that would be expensive.

I'm sure this situation is not so uncommun so any of you have ideas? Obviously the cheaper the better...

Thanks!

you checked out 'Watershed' ?

... not sure they make exactly what you want, but will most like have something that'll work... or will make one for you... do know of someone that found just the right size for his Mandolin

How about these ?

A friend of ours took his down the Grand Canyon, I'll ask what he used. Heck, a whole string quartet took their instruments down the Grand, so there must be stuff big enough for a cello!

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I saw one of these on the net also... I guess they are my only option. A friend of mine told me he has a big bow bag in which he can put stuff. This was made by a compagny not in business anymore, apparently nobody makes anything like that either.

C ya!

Couldn't you just learn to play the Jew harp or the Harmonica ?

All musicians should audition with a group before embarking. Or, agree to go play far up or downstream of the campsite.

Check this thing out made by Gaia. Your only problem may be that it's only 36" long. It has a watertight zipper on it.

Thanks Sambo112,

The floatations I have on my canoe are actually Gaia, 60" long and I actually found they are more like around 63", fits perfectly in my ME.

The picture you shower is exactly what I am looking for... Let's wait a bit and see of they would come up with bigger ones soon?

Actually I'll contact them and see what they have to say...

I was suggesting calling Jack's and telling them what you want and seeing if they will build it for you. I think that they could make an inflatable drybag that would fill the space in your canoe and hold your guitar.
