need a canoe dropoff location in upstate NY

Post by northern river »

Just bought a used canoe in Seattle and need to have it delivered. I've advertised in U-ship and will need a dropoff location close to home (Kingston Ontario Canada) somewhere in upstate NY - within a few hours of here. Ideas? Suggestions?

If you have it shipped to the freight terminal in Albany, NY (cheaper than shipping to a house) I can pick it up and store it for you (in Queensbury, NY). Otherwise you can certainly have it delivered here, or to my in-laws business (sometimes shipping to a business address is also cheaper... residential is almost always most expensive)

Another option, perhaps closer for you, would be anyone that lives out Buffalo NY ways (or have it shipped to a terminal there, and pick it up). I had my Wheelboy shipped from Seattle? that way, and it wasn't too bad price wise. I think it was Forward Air.

Either way if you need a "staging" location PM me for my address.

If you came down to pick it up some weekend I'd be happy to show you down the Schroon, Sacandaga, or Hudson.
