Question about boats to convert

I am trying to find a kayak to convert that could be the all around boat for me. I am wondering what everyone else thinks. What kayak could be converted to C1 that would be a one boat quiver? One that could be good a river running but also good at play spots as well doing all the tricks.

What's your weight, where you paddling (there might be boats around to demo in your general location) and what is available (do you have access to any particular kayak for coverting)?

I am in Minnesota. I have access to most kinds of kayaks either new or used. I paddle mostly class three and lower. Play boat the same.

I think the zone series would be worth a look. My view is, generally speaking - yes there are exceptions, if it made a pretty good kayak it makes a pretty good C1.
Issues to remember - how the boat will trim out as a C1 and can you fit in it! Fitting in it with comfort is the key!
Keep us posted as you go forward and I'm sure others will join in.
