Question - what do the guys wear to prevent chaffing

Shorts? ...You mean you wear something under your skirt when you paddle? I thought the authentic Scottish look was "in."
All kidding aside, polypropolene long johns can help reduce "swimsuit abrasion."

I don't chafe when boating. I chafe when walking or doing yard work. That is why I prefer to boat.

I wear an old pair of speedo jammers. Basically a just above the knee length swimsuit.

I use Johnson and Johnson baby fresh powder. I feel fresh and my fuzzy rubber doesn't chaff. Makes me smile when a fresh breeze blows across my bare calves too.

bikers use Chamois cream many brands but: DZ Nuts......all in the name
adventure racers seem to mention bodyglide

Actually it's not the junk I have issues with ... without getting into much detail ... it is the inside of my legs below that.

I often wear my cycling shorts, lycra with the padding inside. Inexpensive and they grab my fancies smooth.

pick your visual and treat accordingly. Seams may be the culprit?, maybe try a bike short (chamois)? or make one
