Any outfitter around here?

Post by Raff »

We are an outfitter in south-germany, looking for contact with outfitters in north-america who are using MadRiver Explorer 16 TT for exchanging experiences.

Cheers,

You mean the poly sandwich Explorer, rather than the Royalex version?

well i'm not an outfitter but i've had mine for 5 or 6 years now, and after lots of trips its still in great shape. no oil canning, not worn through anywhere etc. i've heard others had problems with oil canning, so its hit or miss. either you get a good one, or a bad one. guess i got a good one :D

Hi joe,

what kind of seats do you have? Did you change the original seat-holder (did you shorten they)? Any problems withbroken screws?

seats are nylon webbing. moved the seats back about a foot each for correct trim while kneeling. haven't broken a screw yet. mr t-grips told me over the weekend these boats do not stand up well to shotgun blasts!
