This sounds great! I'm still just getting into OC1 stuff, and it would be amazing to paddle this winter, too. Now it's just deciding who I want to paddle with!

I do have a few questions though...
Can you tell me where I fly into, and how much I can expect to pay for a flight?

You have to fly to el Puerto de Veracruz. I believe the only international carrier is continental that flies from Huston.

If you don't have luck with flights going into Veracruz, you also have the option of flying into Mexico City and then taking a bus to Xalapa, where Esprit will pick you up.

The easiest way to join the trip is to fly to the Veracruz International Airport (VER) and arrive prior to 5:00pm on your arrival day (Saturday).

Currently flights are around $650 including taxes which is as cheap as they have been in years.

Alternatively, it is possible to fly into Mexico City and bus to Xalapa to meet the trip. We can provide step by step meeting instructions if flying into Veracruz doesn't work for whatever reason.

We have trips running pretty much every Saturday as well as the dates that Mark, Dooley and Eli will be joining us!
