Paddling Class 3

Post by Bill M »

N. Alabama: LRC Chairlift will be class 3 but look at Bottleneck;Locust Fork should be around 2.5'; Mulberry will be there.
E. Tn: The Ocoee is there, will be crowded; the Obed Gorge, OBJ to Nemo, will be there; Clear Creek,Jett to Nemo, will be LOW; Big South Fork low but solid 3's and pretty; Nolichucky low but again nice and pretty.
Forecast is for rain so all could change.
Have fun,
Bill

The Chattooga has been holding water well. Section 3, or Section "3.5" (Section 4 before you get to the 5 falls) are good Class III runs.

3day forecast is for 1.5+ inches, with water already... check the forums and flowpages on waldensridgewhitewater.com and alabamawhitewater.com... at least LRCanyon will be going (if not 2much2)...
