For me; boating brings me closer to to something divine, and in a open canoe I'm 8 Inches closer.

Wow, that's a killer! 8)

Now I hope you speaking of a tandem canoe, right? :o

The pump and its capacity looks mega-cool, would empty a tandem canoe in probably less tham a minute but... You're not going to like the battery that goes with it. To push up to 31amp 12V you are going to need a car battery pretty much... Heavy to say the least.

At that point, the water may just be getting into the boat for the weight of the pump ! :lol:
Watch out; that river has rocks on the bottom. :o

Might think about get two...

... then you could think about bringing your kayaking buds along in a canoe.

I figure a deep cycle marine battery ort to do the trick.

Are you looking into jet propulsion? With a discharge out the side you just may spin in circles!

That sucker will drain most AZ creeks! Should install intake filters and a macerator to keep the fish, seaweed and river bottom from clogging up the ports.
