No he ain't goin to Cuba but he is goin to be in the East Tennessee area the weekend of 22, 23 November, if he can find an escort car to follow him on the hiway ( load that long require escort in some states)
Now about Cuba, a well know Canadian boater/photographer is headin to Cuba. Mountains ( where Fidel came from), rain (huricane season you know), and he can go leagally, we can't. Well my family could usin their Mexican passports and we can't. The whole world can go to Cuba to boat and we can't. Is this ban on Cuba stoppin the spread of communism or just stoppin US citizen from see it?

That is because we are the freest people in the world. This Cuba thing is a bunch of crap, cuban expats and Kennedy lovers don't want an inneffective embargo to go away.

I think he was bein phacious, sayin we are freest people in the world yet we can't travel to the third closest country too us. One htat has rain, mountain, river, cheap prices, good cigars, and hot women.

when I reread my post I realized I put "The only thing" Well shoot I don't know that. I am too young to know what the heak cuba has to offer. Been illegal to do anything cuban longer than I been around. Had to go to Canada to
legaly try a cuban cigar.

i ain't 'really' illegal to go to cuba. that is, if you go thru mexico, make sure they don't stamp your passport, and make sure you bury the cigars--and whatever else you've got--deep in the dirty underwear in your suitcase on the way back into the states. and of course if you forget to mention where you've been to folks at the border, then it ain't really 'illegal'....
its pretty close, and pretty easy trip from the gulf side of mexico. when i was down south, i met a bunch of folks who had enjoyed cuban hospitality. hades its dam near close enough to paddle there....who knows how many folks you'll see paddling out.....

Ba ha ... that be me.
By 10PM EST friday night I will be having a bunch of girly girl fufu umbrella drinks in my sipee cup.
My only goals for the trip are:
1. take amazing sunset pics
2. take amazing sunrise pics
3. drinks as per above.
I am going down with my dad and step-mom and a bunch of the clan from her side.
I will be visiting one day with a local family off the resort that my step-mom sister has known for 14 years. I am going down with a whole bunch of stuff to share with the kids in that community. I was given a list of needed items and they are now packed in my bag.
I hope to get some amazing off resort shots.
I will post everything on my flickr when I get back and update my blog on my experience.
Can't believe Louie thinks I am well known
I think he is trying to make me blush.
Thats it for me ... no internet access until I get back late on the 30th.
Be safe out there!
WHat???

So all that whinning about having to get ready for the snow instead of paddling was just a cover so you could go hang out in a tropical paradise with scantily clad women while imbibing in fancy frou frou drinks! Really Colin!!!!
