I love that boat!

What boat or boats, are your all time favourates and why?
For me it's two playboats; My Crazy 88 and my CU-Fly.

The crazy is fast, carves properly and given a big wave goes huge pretty much by default, yet still feels good to paddle in a hole.

The CU-Fly is just fun; ugly, impossibly frustrating to paddle upstream in, slow, unrockered and easy to catch an end, but FUN with a captital PH!

(not in order of preference)

Edge - My doit alll... (steep creek, slalom, river running, bigwater, play-boating choice) ...for over a decade.

Spanish Fly - boat-du jour - another can doit all - except maybe the really biggg ... gotta love that HDPE!

Miss Daisy - a little something - that I've thrown together.

OC1 Esquif-Pyranha SpanishFly... if you were going on a boating trip that would involve river running, creeking and playboating and you could only take one boat along... the SpanishFly would be it for me... as it has for ten years now.

C1 Robson RedFred... I know it isn't the best C1 conversion I could have... but I love that little boat.

L'edge (version 2.0)... we'll see.

Craig has is so right, The SpanishFly really is a do everything OC1.
You can spin, cartwheel, loop and blunt. You can do multi day trips like the SunKosi and the Grand Canyon. You can play the river, rock spin and freewheel to your head falls off. And creek like a demon.
The SpanishFly is one of Frankies finest, if I was only allowed one canoe it would be SpanishFly.
Ride hard,

So far my favorite boat has been my SUPAFLY. I've had an Ocoee & have been in a quake. We'll see what next year has to offer.

if I could have only one boat it would be my first C1 - the Delirious. Why? The razor edges give me an awful lot of fun up to 3+. Coming from an open boat I had a hard time getting used to them but it was worth the lot of rolling and swimming :D .
