Does anyone know where I can get a breakdown paddle kit? I think it was cbcboat that suggested Prijon Wildwasser, but they are backordered on the kit I need (27 mm ferrule) and have been for quite a while.

So I checked with Werner today and they don't carry the kits.

Somebody out there must know of where to get a kit. How about it?

It's not on their website, but I think I've seen some in their store? You could try Western Canoeing:

i got tired of trying to find a kit and ordered a Aquabound Edge breakdown from our local outfitter Rockcreek. $90 and it looks and feels great.

Tim and Pat, thanks for the information. Tim, a breakdown aquabound paddle is my back-up plan. After busting a couple of paddles this past year I decided that I need a back-up paddle for my Spanish Fly. So I thought that a custom job would insure that it would fit. I'll probably be talking to the folks at Aquabound in the new year.

you break that h20? could you get the aquabound apart after using it? that has been my only complaint with that paddle and roy had the same problem with his. but i sent it in and they did a great job of fixing it.
