Liquid Logic Skip

Post by agmazzuckelli »

Has anyone ever converted a liquid logic skip? It looks like it would make a fun conversion.

Saw one on the Lower Yough this summer. I'm pretty sure the weight limit is pretty low and your tolerance for rolling high.
Just sayin'.

Yeah, I got that feeling when I saw one too. Thanks for the feedback.

I think Barry Kenon was the only person I ever saw actually "paddling" one.

not a skip, but

I used to paddle a Pop, the skip's larger size, made a decent conversion. It was a bit narrow at 24", and I think the skip even more so, 23.5" or so. With that beings said, I didn't find it that twitchy. I seem to recall there being a decent amount of information on the skip/pop if you do a search.

I found the boat to be a nice compromise between the longer slicier playboats and the newer corky/short playboats. If its cheap and you are in the weight range, I say go for it.
