Anyone tried the 2010 Fun as a C1 yet?? I'm in the market for a new boat and am trying to decide what to go for....

Cheers

Craig, careful there with that. They are most definitely not the same boat.

The Molan has a vague superficial resemblance to the oh-ten star's not the fun's.

But from having the chance to mess with one of the Pre-Production Molan M's at the launch event... I can confirm that the Molan is distinctly unlike the Star as a boat

Jamie,

It's worth considering the Big Dog range as they will do them as C1s. Kevlar stringer, anchor points, saddle and bulkhead. Works out cheaper than K1.

I saw the UK analogue of that convo on UKRGB; either way, they're bot sites where boaters go to talk large steaming pile of dog doo in their lunch break... (not that it's a bad thing.)

I'm getting pretty gosh-darn tired of hearing this same lame line- and I've got a feeling that Craig is just trying to get me riled up again. Like I said on BT, anyone looked at slalom boats lately? Superficially, they all look the same, but they can perform wildly differently (Matikan anyone?). Having been involved in the discussions that shaped the Molan, it's a bit of an insult to be told that we just copied the All-star.

Rant over

Well even those that are allowed in Kiddy Pool don' t live there like some people,BTW what are you up to on that buttboater site now 40,000? You know there is a reason it is called the kiddy pool.

Blackfly looks like the OCA, you mean the CU Fly, right? Eveyone wants to copy Frankies designs, Steve's not so much.

Well no, the truth of the matter is we are not suppose to be talkin about butt boats. That is why it is called Cboats.net and not Buttboats.net

Yes... but some of us actually enjoy paddling them from the proper position.
