proof that c-boating ain't dead

Post by golder »

in a fruitless search for video of a c-boat back deck roll, i came across the following:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=725EcXWk_fQ

someone oughta tell those folks over there at the wii offices about the j-stroke.

by the way, does anybody know of any video out there of a back deck roll in a c boat?

I don't know if it is online anywhere, but I would call that "dry hair roll" that Kent Ford does in the C-1 Challenge a back deck roll.

thanks for the help, ya'll.

so i've determined that the 'back deck' roll that i "taught myself" from reading thrill of the paddle. is definitely not a back deck roll. not sure what it is exactly. i was heading the other way!

now i know what i should be doing. that gives me something to work on at the pool next week.

the good news is the 'regular' roll seems to be coming along well--at the pool at least.
