Do they make five toe'd socks to go with them?
In other words... you couldn't wear them with a drysuit that has socks.
I just picked up a pair of Keen Payette's... so far so good

I have a pair of their original style. No strap, low, terrible for boating. Great for just walking around, though. Love 'em. Excellent traction, balance, and feel. The upgraded versions would be fine for boating.

I've had a pair for about a year, love to wear em around and I've worn them a bit in my playboat K1. Mine are the lowcut ones and they are horrible for swimming. Tried that in a pool and almost lost both. They do make five finger socks, but not waterproof ones.
I have a pair of the socks and they get about as many funny looks as the shoes. It takes awhile to get used to them, and putting them on can be a pain. I found the sole of the shoe to be pretty protective and comfy to walk in, so the higher ones with the strap would be ok to boat in.
I was wondering if these had been brought up

I love my classics but they would come right off in the water. I have been trying to find the flows (neoprene with straps) for a while.

my wife loves hers. really, i can hardly get her to take 'em off. i'm a bit jealous, hoping to get some myself...mostly for running/hiking/etc.. they seem pretty sweet. i prefer being barefoot anyways, these are like barefeet+super callouses and being able to go into shops & restaurants. i'm not sure how they will work out for river footwear, though they have different models w/ different amounts of straps, etc....
one warning: everyone you come across, most anywhere is gonna want to talk bout your feet/shoes. some folks are even gonna want to touch 'em....

just get some good callouses and go barefoot
I just ordered the new level six creek boot I hope they are good I like their other booties but they sucked on rocks while creeking.

what they look like on my feet i could care less about.
we evolved barefoot. i'm interested in wearing them in the woods mostly to try running and hiking as close to barefoot as my feet will enjoy. my feet spend too much time in work boots these days to get summer feet like i used to.

Say what you want, I've had mine for three and a half years (ordered from Canada some time ago) and I love the things.
Paddling a C1 in the summer they're great river footware (I have the sprint, the classic with a strap on) I wouldn't wear them in an open because I'd be worried about cutting the top of my feet and my ankles on the footbraces.
