If you are able to come Friday there should be no problem at getting a campsite right at Teeters at the put in.

O'course, if u have enuf Monkey, that is all a non-issue.

I'll be there Thursday night and plan on staying at Teeters campground. If you get there on Thursday, you can get a great camping spot...just watch out for poison ivy along Muddy Creek's banks.

Depending on levels, I may participate in the Race in Friday...last year Alden was the only competitor in the C category. If its wicked high or if the Big Sandy is at a nice level, I may take my girlfriend and some first timers down the Lower Big Sandy. Hopefully we'll get rain like we got last year, without driving the Cheat into crazy high levels.

Hope to C everyone there!!! ~ Mark

I'll be there. I'll have a booth for Blackfly, so I'll be staying at the festival site. If anyone wants to demo a boat either Friday or Saturday, let me know. I'll have a both the Blackfly, and a Pyranha Molan C-1 for demo.

Al, you're at the top of the list. If/when you figure out which day you'd prefer, let me know. I'm going to have two boats available for demo. One is my designated demo boat- stock outfitting, which can be added to or subtracted from as needed, and the other is my personal boat, which is a tighter fit.

I'll also have a C1 creekboat (Dagger Gradient) and C1 playboat (LiquidLogic Space Cadet) with me, if anyone wants to try them out over CheatFest. They're not for sale!

My buddy Elijah (river45) will be bringing the two boats for sale on this forum to the Cheat as well, which you can try/buy from him. He has a Spanish Fly in great condition and a Drakkar Big Boy, the composite one, with an outrageous Red, White and Blue American Flag paint job.

Looks like rain in the forecast for later this week into this weekend, hopefully levels will come up in the Cheat area in time for a good festival.

If you can get there either Thursday night or Friday during the day you should be able to bag a campsite at Teeters, which is first-come first served. There is always extra space upstream at the Cheat Canyon campground.
