Good day, I'm new here but not new to paddling...
I'm getting a new Bell Nexus, and I want to outfit it as a tandem play boat. I will be using the Beluga Mustang saddles and was wondering if any one here could help with where to place the saddles in the boat? Is there a rule of thombs?
Thank you for any input!
Cheers

Here's what the Nexus's designer (Bob Foote) has to say:
Nexus - Paddling skills and style determine how to best outfit this tandem canoe. For those paddling the boat from standard positions, the back bone should be 67”-68” from the bow for the bow paddler and approximately 58” from the stern for the stern paddler. For paddlers with a higher skill level and wishing for tighter positioning, the bow person’s back bone should be about 75” from the bow, while the stern person’s back bone is 63” from the stern.
I found these instructions on this web page:

While youre at it I would replace the twarts by some more heavy duty one too... Some of the recent Bell I saw were pretty weak and you may have to play with their position anyways I guess...
