Thoughts on Bell Prodigy X?

I am a big OC-1er and am in the market for a new boat. Am looking at a variety of things (Mohawk Probe's vs Viper 12, Outrage X, and Prodigy X). What are your opinions of the Prodigy X? Will it work for my size (6'4", 270lbs and hopefully losing some) or should I go with something bigger? I have a Dagger Caption that I paddle solo now and just sold a Probe 13 (which looked somewhat small with me in it but actually handled good). I am a decent intermediate paddler that is fairly comfortable in class 3 and don't plan to push it any further than that. Does anybody in the SE USA have any of these in stock such that I could go look/feel/touch? Any other suggestions? Anybody know of any good used ones of these sitting around collecting dust? Thanks!!

I am 6'7" about 250 and love the Viper 12. If you want we could try to get togather and you can paddle it. Let me know. I have had an Outrage X and really did not like it at all

There is a new Prodigy X at Cossa Outfitters in Gadsden AL. I bet he would make a deal on it. If it was a Prodigy I would already have it.

Dunno about the Prodigy X, but I have high a pretty high opinion of the Prodigy for many things. It's a unique combination of a stable/forgiving boat with reasonably narrow gunwales. A great combination for teaching people to use off-side strokes, and for people who aren't particularly tall. I think it's worth keeping on your list of options.

Thanks,
