C-1 outfitting pics, Redline

Post by yarnellboat »

Here are many photos of a nothin'-fancy version of "fence rail" C-1 outfitting in a Dagger Redline.

Lifted rim, pressure-fit foam pieces, reinforced 2" plastic downspout as rail, foam held with screws into wood at the stern of the saddle and a thwart above the bulkhead...

I'm hoping I'll be more comfortable paddling the Redline than the edgier, lower volume Score.

Great series of pix outlining the whole process.

Thanks, Pat, for taking the time to post this.

Can't wait to see it on the water! (Speaking of which, the Horsefly Wave's looking good for next weekend. Room to crash at Pierre's B & B!)

I have to agree that is a great set of photos on how to do a "rail" type conversion. I am bookmarking it. Thanks for putting all the effort into documenting the entire procedure. You have made it easy for the rest of us to follow, when the time comes.
