i have known a few guys who like the thunder as a k1, but mostly cause it was cheap and they couldn't find a magnum. it's not a "creek" boat, more of a river runner ala the mamba etc.

I've seen last year a very good paddler in a thunder C1, seemed to like it. Riot plastic has a pretty bad reputation. But the hull shapes makes it interesting, I beleive you could creek it pretty good. Not a real creeker as per kayak standards (river runner so it says) but other than that it has some lenght and volume... Looks good to me!

Watch out; that river has rocks on the bottom. :o

I guess it should be a great riverrunner. If I ever can find a cheap Thunder 65 I shure will give it a try.
