I know this is out of season but planning ahead is something I enjoy. I was wondering if anyone had any beta on a good mulitday spring trip somewhere fairly warm? Any and all info would help.
Cheers,
Micah

not sure what class or part of the planet you're talking about, but in cali we have;
these are all class IV-V
devils canyon on the middle fork feather
deer creek
mill creek
tuolumne
...and some others that I haven't been on yet;
generation gap on the north american
forks of the kern
garlic falls on the kings
there's probably a few more that i'm not thinking of.
and of course if you are a V+ boater the list goes on

Do you mean local or anywhere? There's a fun little place called Costa Rica that is my new favorite this year.

Larry, I was raised in Cali, but unfortunately White Water wasn't part of my life yet. I might be out that way towards the end of the year, I'll have to hook up with ya. Anything good near Portervile, or Springville (Tulare County)

Heck yeah, come on out! There's great stufff down there in the spring. I have to admit though, I have never been that far south

The Kaweah and Tule are definately on my list, but from where I live, it's a good 6.5 + hours to get to a put-in.
If you're coming in the winter most any boating is rain fed.
It never rains in southern CA so You gotta come north of San Francisco, and hope for a storm.
