Call this an open letter to Esquif folk and a rally for an abruptly and not really thought out idea that just occurred to me as I'm sipping a beverage and looking at the latest "we need a real C-1" post.

Since you guys seem pretty cool, innovative, and dedicated to us single bladers. Build some great C-1s.

Here's the easy way to do it. Call up Marko from Drakkar and buy up the rights to his creeker prototype, maybe even his mold if he got that far. Build it.

Maybe even buy the Wheelboy mold. (If people still want them, I was working on distributing and had a few, not convinced it was that great). And while your at it get Noah's Canoe Amerika mold.

Should you take me up on my suggestion, I expect you to name the new creek boat after me. But don't send me one cause decks scare me now. Instead I'll accept an open L' Edge.

I'm totally clueless when it comes to designing and building a boat but"you familiar plural" might want to take a moment to think about this post....

I have no idea what prompted a designer to ask such a question ... but he is thinking! Might want to note what criteria you want in a C1 in this thread.

Maybe no one will listen ....maybe someone will!

PS: Ditto on FatBoy & WheelBoy (maybe BigBoy and Marko's K series as well!). Maybe even the Noah America Model is out there too for a C2.
