As we are en route to Mexico with our school program (W.I.L.D.) we will be stopping at the Ocoee this weekend to paddle with the Lost Tribe.
I think it is pretty cool that a Canadian company on its way to Mexico can stop and paddle with a group of young, enthusiastic, up and coming American paddlers from the Lost Tribe.
A big shout out to Cboats for being the forum linking us all together.
Ken, let me know what time and we will meet you with boats at the put in.
6 L'Edges (2 open, 4 decked)
3 Spanish Fly
2 Prelude
2 Taureau
2 Blast (Tandem)
The rest of the boats are in Mexico already!

Wooo Hoooo !! Sounds like another adventure for the tribe. I wonder if we could top the number of boats that were there last time. I didn't get to go, so this will be my first romp down the 'ol Ocoee. (Please be gentle guys !)
I hope everyone thats free next weekend can come and join us. Esspecially the first time Ocoee boaters!! I don't want to be the only one.....but someone has to be the entertainment I guess.
It sounds like there will be a lot of people there for the race Sat. that may be a good time to put on a show for the butt boaters..... Let them know that us open boaters are still around.
Lets here it everyone Whatta Ya think? Sat. ? Sun? BOTH Days!!
I'm STOKED !!

OK, So I talked with Jim who is off the beaten path and off the grid so to speak, he'll be back in civilization Thurs. He will be camping nearby all weekend. So if you want to try one of his boats you have 2 yes thats right folks 2 days to get ya one!
The plan for the tribe, if you would like to join us is:
We will meet at the Private Boaters Takeout @ 11:00 am EASTERN We can move boats and get somewhat organized.
Hopefully this will give the racers time to head out down the river and we will be out of the way. The rafters...ahhhhhhh, when we see them comming we'll get out of the way as they blow by.
Right now the forecast is 71 deg and sunny ! After running the river it would be cool to go down to the after party and support the non profit the race is being held for!
WOOO HOOOO, let us know, are you gonna be there?
