I don't like to bath in those, I end up looking like a Giant Smurf after taking a dip in the blue goo !

Oh yeah

I'll be arriving late Thursday (pre-ALF) night or early friday morning. Boating Friday, Saturday...racing Sunday. Maybe boating Monday but I have to drive home sometime.

So I went and traded my open boat for a C-1...doh...right before ALF. So I'll be looking to borrow an open boat for the race or I may just run it in the C-1 just for fun and be disqualified. Either way, this is gonna be CRAZY!!!!!!

The plan is to crash at Alex's place. If anyone wants a lift from the central PA area and is okay with a Thursday 5 pm-ish start to return Monday sometime, give me a call at 717-507-1748.

Justin, I probably won't race, but I've got a Mohawk Probe 12II that you can likely use. Will be in sometime Friday. Driving a blue Subaru Outback with the Probe, Taureau, and a Quake on top. Not sure where I'm landing for sleep that evening yet. May grab a hotel room first night in.

I would love to take the Probe12 down. I've heard good stuff about that boat. The timing of my trade for a C-1 doesn't jive with ALF but I just wasn't thrilled with the Nitro. I'm still an open boater at heart and have plans to own another ASAP...but C-1ing is crazy fun. Had a good run in it yesterday on a solid IV-V creek and did amazingly well for not having it out for more than 45 minutes prior to that. We'll see what the future holds. Again, thanks for the offer and I'll see you down there!

Glad to get to add to the carnage. BTW, I'm bringing a Taureau that can be had for a price. I may have it priced too high but we can always negotiate!

CYA there.

ALF ain't louie fest. It's your fest, you make it what you want it to be.
