Few people were asking to see some pictures of the outfitting in a couple of my boats. So I figured at start a new topic. So post pictures of your boats outfitting. Help give others ideas for the next project and give feed back on what you see.
Just finished my Jackson today. The idea is no straps, with foot pegs. Won't repeat myself from my last thread so, here's the link. Also included photos of my other 3 boats.

How much of a difference do hip blocks make when rolling?

I bet it is! That's one thing I love in the Taureau. The bulk head keeps you so warm. Love the Koho thwart too, very classy

I think the hip pads help transmit the hip snap to the boat. It was a bit hard for me to get used to at first but I'm glad I put the saddle time in to realize the benefits they give- lots more boat control.
Hockey stick thwarts rock.

Smurff, nice work on the outfitting, look like you like to be tight in your boats... I dont see lap belt very often in oc boat, are they common down where you are? Is that a Bulldog in the back ground of one of the pics?

Yup, I like the boat to fit well, and I like to tinker so...
As for the lap belt, it works well in the Blackfly but will eventually upgrade it to a copy of what I put in the L'Edge as that boat fits me the best.

Excellent tinkering; I think I've got to up my game.
With that much investment in minicell what do You using to glue the pieces together and what do You use to bond it to the hull?

I use Barge adhesive. It's a really strong glue designed to glue foot soles together on shoes. Never had a problem with it.

Adhesive- weldwood contact cement in red can and I use the gel formula. Available at Lowes and Home Depot which makes it easy to get. Around $12 for a pint.

i bought some harmany knee pads that im going to put in a rec canoe (MR teton) I paddle it solo, seated in the front, turned backward. My question is on the position of the pads, I have some ideas but I would be interested on what the og`s have to say bout that.
