This is the best footage I've seen. All you snowbound folks enjoy.

Wendy,

You're killing me with that video. I haven't seen liquid water since the end of November. I just came in from skiing at a balmy 14F, (- 10C) and the first thing I see surfing the web is that gorgeous day on the river.

I can't wait for ALF!

Yes... that's all, except for some of the flat. Just be-(real)-careful at Deepthroat (3:15) with a little more water it can be quite circulatory.

Thanks - Look's like just another sun-shiny alabamy winter day.

Above- this is the West and East Fork of the Little River. The West Fork is class III-IV and the East Fork is easier, class II-III.

...and between those and this one, a really choice Upper Section.

Hey Phil, is that not Roadblock at 3:15?

Torre and I read and ran Upper 2 for the first time two days after the above video was taken. There seemed to be plenty of water to get down (~320cfs?) but it was bony in places and the first drop of Humpty looked kinda scary. I'd say that even at this level, Upper 2 is a good step up from Chairlift. I'm at the point where I feel totally comfy on Chairlift, but we had "mixed results" on Upper 2  .

Indeed it is. Not to big a deal at lower flows but there's a need, especially for rightys, to be careful at higher levels because that suck-hole becomes a serious issue.
