Post a photo and a location and maybe I'll make an offer! A minor oil canned prelude is probably better than my cracked/welded/cracked again prelude! :-?

Anthony Did your Prelude Crack in one of the welds I did Or Near the Cracks But Not on it ?

It cracked near but not on, the welds look/have held up great!
I think the crack is just related to the astonishing amount of rocks in the rivers down in that neck of the woods and the age/wear of the boat. Next time I come down I'll probably bring it down to your place for some TLC.

Yes I think that boat may have been left out in the sun a little too much, I think UV damage plastic becomes Brittle with time and exposure.
The Pyranha Preludes also seem thin to me.

I think we have a buyer......finally conferred with boaters smarter than us about what price to go with...$500 with airbags.

If it doesn't sell, I will post again. I think he needs to sell a boat to buy this one :-)

Sue

also, but I haven't worried to much about it. Does it significantly impair the perfomance?

My Prelude has oilcanning, but I haven't worried much about it. Does it really affect performance that much?
