Hey folks,
I have a friend who has done some real cool artwork with snowboarding & skateboarding. He has an appreciation & interest in riverculture/whitewater wanting to spread some of his artwork onto paddling gear and boats which i think is really awesome.
Any ideas & advice on adding paint (aerosal or brush) to boats?
Whats kind of sealing coats would work well to protect image in water and not negatively effect performance? Royalex included(i'd love to get his stuff on some canoes!)

Anyone ever done graffic designs on boats or gear before?
What do yall think?
Thanks for any advice, Andrew

Better do something that doesn't scratch off. Custom Decal work is probably best, and you can just replace the decal when it gets crappy...

Otherwise - anything painted on top of a surface will scratch off.

Tommy - Got scratch & sniff on your canoe or what?

If you treat'em good it shouldn't go that fast.

The custom DEADWOOD art I put on the bottom of my boat came completely off in only a few river trips.
