Any paddlers in the Michigan's UP out there?

I'm looking to paddle some spring runs in Michigan's UP this spring. Anybody out there I can hook up with. I'm on the Canadian side of Lake Superior.
Our U.P. season is in limbo as gauges don't seem to know what direction to go... but rain is on the way... maybe snow... or maybe snowain... ya' never know???
