WHEW! Just had a chance to take my Dagger Legend 15 out to the Big South Fork Of the Cumberland. Ran the canyon section at 2500ish CFS. Kept the big boat dry! I never thought a boat that big could preform so well in waves and boils, i have a whole new respect for OC paddlers who pioneered these runs in even bigger boats. I will defiantly be getting the big boy out more often. Props to my good friend Tubb, thanks for the trip.

I had a similar experience recently. I took my Caption down the N Fk Nooksack Canyon around 1800 CFS. It is not really big water, but continous water in a small place. Every time I turned the boat one way or the other I was putting one end of the boat or the other in an eddy or a hole and getting whipped around.

It was a lot of fun, but those guys who did harder stuff in small waters must have had solid brass ones!
