Shawn, Chris, Dan and myself will be in the Pouder Canyon on the 6th of August. Hopefully the water will hold. Come on openboaters join us.

Roy told me last week that he was on his way home.
Spent four days this past week paddling in the Poudre Canyon. Flow is slowly dropping, but afternoon rains are in the forecast and it caused a rise last week.
Boated Clear Creek into Idaho Springs and the Numbers on my way back south. Clear Creek would make a good stop on the way to the Ark.
I'll likely be up for another trip to the Ark while you are here and can go during the week.
If you can stay after 8/12, there's a whitewater release scheduled for the NF South Platte that weekend. Bailey Canyon is one of the best class IV creeks in the state with a few V's you can choose to run or not. If not up for Bailey, Foxton makes a nice class III run downstream.

I'm not a frequent Poudre paddler, but locals say there's poor correlation between the online gage and the boater's gage. My old CRC has 2' as 330 CFS and 3' as 650 CFS.
