Your ultimate 'quiver' of boats...

Reading posts lately of folks talking about pulling an old boat out of storage and paddling it got me thinking - what are my personal favorite boats.
We've already had a thread on "if you could only own one boat" what it would be (Viper or Shaggy Sith for me)
What if you only had a room for a few boats, say a maximum of three or four?
For me:
River Runner: Sith or full cut Viper
Creek boat: Finkenmeister or Cascade
"play": Acrobat or low cut Viper
I guess to nail it down it would be Sith, Finkenmeister, and a standard length Acrobat (bow and stern squirtable, but also capable of running big water. Fond memories of my Acro running parts of the Ottawa as well as Hudson Gorge:) Sure there are more features you can get on with the Sith, but speed is fun:)

River Runner: Outrage-X
Creeker: Outrage
Play: Caption
BIG Water: Whitesell
Sorry about the fourth boat. With eighteen boats in my back yard I don't know how I could possibly live with only three.

I'm with Jim, Only three boats?! In truth, I only have three boats at this moment... Though one is bound for a new home soon!
Creeker: Right now I would say Prelude, thinking it will change after I paddle an Option coming up!
River Runner: Ion! That boat is a homerun.
Play Boat: While I have a SpaceCadet C1, I think I would more enjoy something long to throw enders in! Viper 11/12 maybe?
It may also be worth noting I like a C1 for when it is really cold...
I think if I could have one boat it may be the Ion. Do a little bit of everything, but I may miss having long boat speed sometimes.

Jim... only 17? Admittedly yours are larger volume than most of mine, but I think I'm getting near 35...and thats taking the one in to account I'm selling this evening!
I agree (wholeheartedly) it would be difficult to own just 3 (or 4) boats. But I do recall when all I could afford was those first two (I purchased the cascade, he gave me the slasher), which I ended up selling to help fund the purchase an Atom when they first came out.
I never would have thought at that time I'd try to "collect the whole set"....

I'll never come close to catching up to you, Adam. Several of my boats are donations from people that have reached their sixties and think that they're too old to paddle anymore.
I did a recount and I actually have eighteen boats in my back yard. I also keep a canoe in Flagstaff and one in Boise for my western trips so I really have twenty.
My wife actually suggested that I sell or give away some of them.

For me, at this point in my life I have been downsizing everything. I am finally down to below 12 motorcycles.
As for canoes though I have owned many the L'Edge fills all my OC1 needs and the Blast is taking care of tandem.
A bad left knee means I am out of the C1 game.
But I do really want to get in an ION

The Viper 11 is really good at back enders. Don't ask me how I know this...

Good to hear... it finally sounds as though you're ready to part with "The one I don't have to round out my collection."
