Silly conversion question

Yes - I know this is a silly conversion question but here goes.

I know of the methods of using some form of large plastic tubing running between the front and rear pillars as a base for the saddle etc

But what methods are there for boats with no pillars (e.g. prijon)

What options are there (if any) short of drilling the hull in multiple places?

The Prijon Rockit that i picked up from Scott Broam had a inner hull type plate that everything was mounted to and that was mounted with two bolts in original seat bolt holes.

I converted a pillarless eskimo Xeno and used a piece of wide flat plastic to attach the center rail (5x5 plastic fence post) to the front side mounting points where the footrail was made to attach. For the rear I simply built up foam on the top of the rail to engage the profile under the back deck of the cockpit. Worked well for me.

i have some pics of my hercules i can send you if you like. i made some aluminum pieces that hold the center rail to the bulkhead and seat bolts. maybe not the best way, but other than having to replace some rivets here and there, it has held up well.

It pretty good. Very fast punches through just about anything. I got a Karnali a year ago and since then its really just sat around. Its a little roly poly, made my roll a lot faster though.
