I was up there the following week (tripping and gladly carrying that drop) and heard about this run from Leonard. It looks like the video omits the biggest of the drops in that rapid if memory serves me correct. I wonder if part of it was carried. Either way, great go and great show. Congrats on a safe run

Hi Doug,
We ran the whole thing from top to bottom. The video shows the main big drop - in the video it's scene where we've set live bait. When I first gave it a good look I realized that it wasn't as big as I had always thought it to be.
I hope you had a great trip too!

Awesome - great work!
I agree, it looks a lot worse when you're portaging a tripping boat around it.
Sorry for the hijack but a quick FYI for Ottawa-area paddlers: if you're looking to practice your boofing, Trick or Treat Falls in Quyon is running right now. Its fairly low but absolutely runnable.

Johno & Dave - awesome job. Video tends to flatten and smooth out white water. On our trips there, is continues to amaze us this gets run at all, let alone that you'd run it in an open-boat.
Johno's statement that it has been run by kayakers is true, but it is rarely run.
