What is the most fun boat you've ever paddled?

I'm not talking about the best, the most stable, your first, or the one you want to purchase (necessarily).

There are some boats, that while you may not want to own them, are a real blast to paddle in certain situations and just make you smile.

For instance - for easy water and trying to Cquirt, the Mentor is a real blast. Cartwheels, power ferry's, and yes even downtime.

There is no way I'd want it to be my only boat though!

What boat puts the biggest smile on your face?

Tandem Octane prototype. Giggling like schoolgirls.

Next week I'll change my answer to "Tandem Octane"

Dagger Quake that didn't belong to me. It never met a hole all day that it didn't like. I wish I could find one to buy.

Tie between a Dagger Ocoee and a Wave Sport Z C-1, but I lead a sheltered life.

the boat that put the biggest smile on my face was one that I never paddled...My buddy David in his LL Huck  He couldn't avoid, or get through, any hole on the river, no matter how far away..
He got absolutely worked in that boat, but rolled up laughing every time. Of course I was laughing "with" him.
I bet that boat put the biggest smile on his face too.....when he hacked it to bits to make outfitting parts from the plastic.

I think I've got to say the Ion. I'm convinced the boat is made of solid fun.

Torrent XL -- best enders ever

or actually the original Torrent with the big wings -- with a light enough pair and a 99.9% roll

While I'm increasingly having problems with the Atom's low volume and catchy deck on harder water, the edginess and speed makes it a blast when I'm not upsidedown

The Blackfly Ion! When I drop into those deep troughs thinking "OK I'm about to get wet" then climb over those big curlers and come out dry, I smile every time. I can't get over how dry the thing is. The ride is fun and different from what I'm accustomed to as well. The boat seems to pivot fore and aft on big wave trains like one of those mechanical bulls, simply refusing to "plow" into anything. I've been meaning to post a review- just haven't gotten around to it.

It might be the age thing but the most fun that I have is paddling a Paddle Cat as long as it's on a good river such as the Gauley, Upper Yough or the Grand Canyon. We laugh and cut up all the way down the rivers. :D
