I finished putting together the first Octane 91 today. I'll try to get some more pictures of it tomorrow, and put it next to an Option, and take a tape measure to it (I think it's around 8' 10" long and about 30.5" wide)- and if I'm lucky, I'll get to go paddle it. That and start putting together the first Octane 92.

Does 91 refer to its weight?

ha, no. '9' is the length (or there about) and '1' because its an OC-1. The 92 will be the OC-2 version.

that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

What's the idea behind the Octane 9 compared to the Option?

It's essentially a stretched out Ion. Planing hull, hard chines, and lots of volume. wanted a really short tandem boat to play with, but it'll be a really good solo boat for the big boys as well.

Nice work Jeremy. It's really cool to see even more new innovative canoe designs.

Sucks to be a broke noob.

Very cool! Hope to see one in person and give it a whirl. I better start saving my pennies.

Keep it up man!....so these cheap bast0rds will have no excuse for keeping those twenty-two year old boats alive with plastic paint and melted leggos. :)

Looks great, Jeremy. What's the price? And is it big enough to float a wildebeest?

I can't get over how sick this boat looks, and a once we see some footage of the tandem I'm sure it will just seal the deal further. A tandem version may have to be next in my collection! Tandem creeking, here I/we come.

Hi Jeremy,

May I suggest that you change the pictures of your boats on your website? I don't think that the older pics pay justice to how your new boats look like...absolutely gorgeous! Keep up the great work! I will definitely consider one of your boats for my next purchase! :D

Very nice! I'm assuming that there will be a demo or two available at Armada / Stoney / Cheat Fest!
