I'm catching a ride and sharing cabin space with class 4 boaters. Not being at that level just want to know that there will be boaters in class 2+-3+ at alf. I'm at KOA but sounds like if I can get me and my boat to shoney's should be able to find like-skill level to paddle? Coming in Friday night for the week.
thanks

Yes, either get to Shoney's, or sometimes a II-III trip materializes at the KOA and you won't need to go to Shoney's.

I'm also at Day's Inn and will be ready to start boating Saturday morning. I hope to move up to class 4 during the week, but for the first few days, Class 3 or 3+ sounds great.

I've not been to ALF before, so I need to meet and more-or-less tag along with folks who know where they are going and what to expect when they get there.

I'm easy to recognize. I have a shark-nosed Option.

I plan to be a Shoney's shortly after 8 am Saturday. Do stop and say hello if you see me.

I am staying at Sweetwater. This is my first time at ALF. So looking forward to meeting Aunt Louie.
I am on the campsite beside #5. Can't remember if it is 4 or 6. Big white Dodge truck, camper top on back. Will be there Friday night. Want to start off easy to knock the rust off first.

My guess would be Lilly to Nemo. Clear Creek to Obed confluence, to the Emory confluence, to the takeout. One of my favorite runs...starts out creeky and ends up pretty big!
