Would really love to have a strong OC class for these races. We even had a tandem couple come out last year!

Remote Productions is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Glide Boise White Water Festival! The event will take place July 27th through 29th 2012. We had a great turn out last year and have been working hard to assure an even bigger and better, non-profit event!

Following is what we have planned:

July 27: Friday Night Film Fest. This exciting event will showcase the Best Trick Video Contest from the brand new Boise Whitewater Park (voted on by the audience), followed by the feature presentations of the evening.

July 28: It’s off to Banks Idaho located in Boise County, home to some of the best whitewater in the world! It is here that we will host the Triple Crown of the Payette. Three boater crosses on three sections of river in one day. There will be a head to head race down the Staircase section of the South Fork (Class IV), followed by the Lemond’s style start of the 2 person team, North Fork Race (Class IV/V) and finally the more moderate, crowd pleaser of the Main Payette (Class III).

July 29: It’s an all out sprint right through the heart of downtown Boise! Paddlers will race from Barber Park to Ann Morrison Park. The fun, 6 mile, class II/III section will finish at an after party. Here competitors, friends, family and spectators will be greeted with live music, great food vendors, a beer garden and sponsor booths.
