I'm in the market for a helmet. Starting to dig around with some research. Typed in helmets into the search function and skimmed through 19 pages. Tried on a few today at a shop and the best fitting one was a Shred ready full metal jacket for 100 dollars. The shop also had a WSRi current helmet and one other that I don't remember the name of that were a bit too small (I have a large skull). I have no experience with WW helmets, so I figured I would see if anyone out there has any experience with this particular helmet?? Not allot of reviews out there for it and it's not currently on Shred Ready's website. Also would love to hear from anyone that would care to try to sway me over to a different helmet for safety, or any other possible reason. THanks!

T-Dub. If you have a big head (or big head AND lots of hair like me) this is the way to go. Full Metal Jacket looks good as well, but I've never tried one.

shred ready helmets are good.
I've got lots of miles on mine and more hits than i care to admit.
The main thing about ww helmets is they have to fit your head. No matter how good it is in tests or how much other people like it, it won't do you any good if it doesn't fit.. and stay in place.

I have a full mental jacket. I bought it because I have a large and funny shaped melon. I ve liked it well enough so far. It has good overage and just enough brim to keep the sun off your face.
That being said, if the WSRI Current helmet would have fit, I would have probably gotten that one.

I have an FMJ and love it. The coverage is great. Appomatix had them on sale for $60 a few weeks ago.
